Open CrownPlay in Chrome or Safari, log in, and play. No app to download, no APK to sideload, no home-screen icon required. The mobile site carries the full 9,000+ game library and the same C$4,500 + 350 free spins welcome package as desktop.
/go/Browser-first by design
CrownPlay is built as a web app. That is not a shortcut around a missing native app - it is the product. The lobby, games and cashier are the same code whether you reach them on a laptop or a phone browser. The official site shows an App Store badge, but there is no CrownPlay app in the Canadian App Store - the badge leads to the browser version / web app - and no Google Play version either, so the browser is the front door.
How well it runs on mobile
Games are HTML5, so they load in any modern mobile browser without Flash or plugins. Slots from Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, NetEnt and Yggdrasil render at the phone's resolution. Evolution live-dealer tables are the heaviest load - a stable Wi-Fi or 4G connection keeps the stream clean, while a weak signal shows in the video first, not the slots.
| Game type | Load on mobile | Connection sensitivity |
|---|---|---|
| HTML5 slots | Fast, light | Low - fine on 4G |
| Table games | Fast | Low |
| Live dealer (Evolution) | Heaviest - video stream | High - Wi-Fi preferred |
| Crash and instant titles | Fast | Medium - latency matters |
Crash and instant titles like Aviator are among the fastest-loading on this list - each round is only a few seconds, so a phone connection rarely gets in the way.
Data use - what live streaming costs
Slots and table games sip data; a session is closer to browsing than to video. Live dealer is the exception because it is a real video stream - that is the part that eats a mobile data plan. If you are on capped data, stick to slots and table games out of the house and save our live casino tables for Wi-Fi. Nothing here is a firm figure from us - it is the shape of the load, and live video is always the culprit.
Want an icon instead of a bookmark?
You do not need one, but if you want a home-screen shortcut, the method depends on your phone. iPhone users add it through Safari - see the iOS page. Android users can use the Chrome Add-to-Home-Screen shortcut; we could not verify an official APK, so skip files that claim to be one. Plain browser play needs none of that.
The mobile bonus is the same package
There is no separate mobile promo. The welcome bonus is up to C$4,500 plus 350 free spins spread across your first four deposits, claimed automatically with no code, on phone exactly as on desktop. Wagering is 35x on the deposit-plus-bonus and 40x on free-spin winnings, cleared within 10 days - check the exact terms in your account before opting in.
Banking on the mobile site
The full cashier loads in the browser. Interac is the default for Canadian dollars, with Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, USDT) alongside. Minimum deposit is C$30, minimum withdrawal C$20. Set up Interac banking once. For how long cashouts take, see withdrawal times - reported speeds vary and we have not run our own test.
Getting started
Open home in your phone browser, register, make a C$30+ deposit through Interac, and the first-deposit part of the welcome package applies automatically. No download stands between you and the tables.
